While doing this I have found that whether an item falls under "Positive" or "Negative" is largely subject to my own opinion. Although I am trying to think on a larger scale about them, about how they would affect America.
MY ANALYSIS OF CHRIS CHRISTIE:
POSITIVES: -Is against abortion and wants to make it to where a minor can't get an abortion without parental notification.
-Wants to move toward alternative energy, including wind and solar farms.
-Supports voucher programs to allow parents to choose what schools their kids go to.
-Supports medical marijuana
-Wants to end the draconian practices of environmental protection agencies.
NEGATIVES: -Although he supports civil unions he is against gay marriage.
-Supports Merit Pay for teachers.
-Does not believe being in the United States illegally is a crime.
MY THOUGHTS: There really isn't much info on Christie. However I believe if he ran he would be a very strong candidate and would make a good President. Based on what I know about him so far, I wouldn't be happy if he got the Republican nod, but he beats the hell out of obama.
